CAMPERLAB’s Spring/Summer 2026 campaign presents the season from an intuitively unpolished and glitchy hand-drawn perspective.
The narrative of the CAMPERLAB SS26 campaign explores the tension between appearance and reality. Seen from the point of view of three protagonists – each dressed in SS26 trompe l’oeil denim suits and Tornado sneakers - they attempt to balance their corporate personas with the mundane and glitterless everyday life within a gritty urban metropolis, wrought with neon CAMPERLAB signs and the quiet residue of lost dreams. Echoing the obscurity of the askew grids from the printed check denim suiting, the campaign itself unfolds through a mixed-media approach. Digitally directed by frequent CAMPERLAB collaborators Mau Morgo and Cesar Rodrez of Olimpic.tv, it fuses hand-drawn characters by Noha Manfredi into digital schenography, allowing illustration and environment to dissolve into one another.
In the beige CAMPERLAB denim suit, a cat-whisperer with main-character energy: Never wanting to be noticed, yet somehow always the centre of attention. Distant, sometimes mistaken for rudeness. Loved by animals and by many humans too, though entirely oblivious to it. Often pretends to be on their phone in public, with the intention of avoiding any possibility of unwanted interactions.
In the burgundy CAMPERLAB denim suit, an exhausted overachiever: Frustrated by being repeatedly talked over in boardroom meetings, they slip out secretly for a cigarette break when nobody notices. Demoralized from having to give more than the next person simply to be taken seriously. Constantly questioning whether any of it is worth it, while numbing their better judgement with copious amounts of alcohol.
In the grey CAMPERLAB denim suit, an often patronizing over-explainer: An arcade addict with a princess attitude. Irritated by everything, yet still convinced they are, at heart, a perfectly nice and down-to-earth human being. Known to cause a ruckus wherever they go, eager to please those around them, but ultimately pushing them away with bursts of aggression that have been known to take down even a few claw machines along the way.
