FW25 CAMPERLAB
seen by Paul Kooiker

Dutch photographer Paul Kooiker’s unmistakable work needs no introduction. In his distinct surrealist reality, oddities, textures, and imperfections are celebrated as unsung heroes, gently dangling in a place where time doesn’t seem to exist.

Kooiker was given free rein to experiment with pieces from the CAMPERLAB FW25 collection. The result is a timeless body of 12 ambiguous images that edge somewhere between the familiar and the uncomfortable.

From the sculptural take on the textile Caramba Chelsea boots to the uneasy demeanour of the peeping toes of the brushed Quetal boots, and the mischievous portrayal of the trompe l'oeil tartan calf-hair suit, the fluffy long-pile coat and accessories, these images are meant to simultaneously provoke and pacify your mind.
